Overview of role:
Description:
We are recruiting an Air Freight Forwarding Export Supervisor for the Export team, for our client a leader in the logistics industry, based in Dublin 15.
This role will be responsible for managing the overall export operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall export operations
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures
- Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with air carriers
- Collaborate with sales functions to execute business plan targets
- Build and maintain long-term relations with clients, airlines and terminals
- Oversee compliance for exporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an Air Freight Supervisory or Management position in the Irish market essential
- Air Export operational experience essential
- Strong thorough knowledge of documentation, procedures and rules for air cargo transportation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A true passion for customer service; you enjoy delivering your best to clients
On Offer
- This is a full time permanent position
- Salary €60k – €65k
- Monday to Friday
