Business Development Executive (IT Services)

We are actively recruiting for a Business Development Executive for our client, one of Ireland’s fastest growing technical solutions services companies, based in Fonthill, Dublin 22.

You will be tasked with generating new business while managing existing client accounts within the IT Services sector, providing white label technical and support solutions as well as a range of warranty support services to clients.

For this full time permanent role, we are looking for a people-person, with great communication skills, with the ability to listen, to present, to negotiate and to work closely with other departments, the management team, and with third-party stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Quickly gain a detailed understanding of our services and product offerings as well as key customer needs
  • Grow the company’s revenue by onboarding new customers while ensuring customers are satisfied with the services provided
  • Generate new business by expanding client relationships and continuously proposing solutions
  • Negotiate contracts with key clients and meet established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term goals
  • Act as the main point of contact between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any account issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Gather, report, and communicate customers’ feedback on service, technology, and service delivery
  • Create a pipeline database to allow tracking of continued business
  • Introduce new initiatives to increase the new business pipeline generation
  • Liaise with the various members of the sales, technical and marketing teams as well as provide input into marketing campaigns and collaborate with other team members to ensure a strong working relationship

 

Requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience within a Technical/Telecommunications/IT/Print industry
  • Results driven with high levels of enthusiasm and initiative
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a result-driven environment.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs, building relationships with professionals at all organisational levels
  • 3rd level qualification in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet critical deadlines
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
  • An understanding of Mobility, Document Solutions, and key technologies would be an advantage as would some experience working within a global sales team
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
