Field Sales Executive (Waste Industry)

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Field Sales Representative for our client based in Dublin City Centre.

This is a full time, permanent position conducting business development, sales, account management and retention in the commercial waste sector.

We are looking for someone with solid experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, pipedrive, etc.). You need to be able to work to deadlines and be very organised when it comes to record keeping and administration. This is a customer facing position where you will be visiting clients in person on a regular basis, therefore relationship building skills and a full clean driving licence are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Use of the CRM for all activity daily (including meetings, contacts, notes, prospects and new contracts sold)
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with large corporate clients to secure repeat business (Ongoing relationships are crucial to secure future business as corporate clients expand)
  • Visiting clients in person to stay familiar with their day-to-day requirements
  • Being fully involved in the onboarding process and continuing to be the main point of contact for the clients going forward
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations to key accounts and new targeted accounts
  • Learn the sector quickly, in order to understand fully what is and isn’t possible operationally. (We cannot over promise and under deliver to customers)
  • Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations
  • Play a lead role in large tenders and assist marketing with developing standardised templates
  • Conducting in-depth research on competitors’ products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests
  • Analysing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective
  • Report weekly sales KPI’s and other reports and KPI’s as required

Requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven 4-5 years of sales B2B experience (Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets)
  • Experience working with a CRM system
  • A highly organised individual who stays on top of all administration work
  • Ability to work with autonomy whilst being held accountable for results/ targets
  • Experience in dealing with senior people within Property Management Companies, Property Developers and Large Corporate Clients
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution
  • Flexible with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A full, clean driving licence is essential
