Commercial Marketing Manager

We are recruiting a Commercial Marketing Manager for our client, a consumables distribution company based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Principal Purpose:  To design and implement marketing strategies that enhance revenue growth, strengthen brand recognition, and expand market presence across Ireland.
This role ensures that marketing efforts are aligned with company commercial goals while promoting collaboration between sales, product, and marketing teams to achieve business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial marketing plan aligned with the company strategic goals
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends in the Irish market
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create targeted campaigns that generate leads and support revenue goals

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and events
  • Measure and analyse campaign performance, optimizing for maximum ROI
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to company’s brand guidelines and maintain consistent messaging

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, and operations, to ensure marketing aligns with business objectives
  • Liaise with external partners, such as media agencies and event organizers, to execute marketing plans effectively
  • Prepare customer presentations, contributing to design and review processes
  • Coordinate with Partners and Brands to develop and execute new product national launch campaigns
  • Manage logistics and planning for conferences, product launches, and national exhibitions from concept to completion

Content and Communication:

  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and digital assets
  • Manage and enhance company’s digital presence, including website updates, SEO, and social media campaigns
  • Drive internal communications, ensuring marketing and commercial strategies are effectively shared across the Team
  • Manage relationships and budgets with external providers
  • Develop a wide range of content, including blogs, case studies, social media posts, newsletters, and sales materials
  • Create and manage video and photo content to support marketing efforts

Budget Management, Data and Insights:

  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring expenditures are aligned with business priorities
  • Provide detailed reporting on budget utilization and campaign ROI
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on commercial marketing
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through marketing initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, and social media
  • Innovative mindset, ability to generate fresh and imaginative ideas
  • Exceptional content creation skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • NetSuite experience an advantage but not necessary
