IT Helpdesk Support

Our client an Irish owned software company, are looking to recruit a qualified Technical Support to join their expanding team.
They are an industry leading supplier of technology products and services, supplying multiple channels nationwide.

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a competent IT Helpdesk Support & Admin to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems and networks
  • You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them
  • An excellent IT Helpdesk Support & Admin must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. You must also be customer-oriented, with an eye for detail, and drive for perfection are extremely important here
  • As an IT Helpdesk Support & Admin, each day promises a variety of challenges.
  • You will excel in handling routine tasks, user troubleshooting, laptop / workstation repair, printer troubleshooting, etc.
  • Assists clients with any issues involving their computer hardware, communications software, or computer applications
  • First point of contact for customers

Suitable candidate must have the following to qualify for this role:

  • Own transport as travel to client sites will be involved at times
  • Third level degree in IT
  • Experience in 365 Microsoft Office
  • Stamp 4 or EU Passport as this is a full time permanent position
  • Full clean driving licence

Certificates in the following would be an advantage

  • CompTIA A+ and Network +. M365 Fundamentals
  • CCENT/CCNA

On Offer:

  • Full time permanent role – Monday to Friday
  • Salary €32k to €38k depending on experience
