On-site Electrician (Tech Lead)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Electrician or Electronic Engineer to join a large distribution company as their Technical Lead / Advisor.

This role is to promote company success, through good management, leadership and reporting skills, to develop and motivate your team and to ensure best practice for all process and procedures.
To achieve completion of conversion workload within the agreed TAT time, to ensure smooth running of the department and to guide and develop your team to reach their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Support Team Manager and perform management duties while manager is absent or out of office
• Monitoring Technical requests
• Retrofit requests
• Rep/Contractor queries
• Provide guidance, instruction and direction to the team with regards to converting product
• To drive performance of a high technical standard within the team
• To provide technical support on all projects where necessary
• Ensure Electrical safety and 100% testing is carried out
• Manage any QC issues internally and externally
• Monitor and update process’s/procedures
• The management of work instructions to ensure all are accurate and up to date
• Management of Component suppliers (UK mainly)
• Management of costs and to ensure sourcing of best and most cost effective components
• Upkeep of Tech information on SAP ( e.g. item codes, BOMs)
• Team ADR Training and development training
• Manage compliance and data management
• Assisting with new products, testing new products for conversions, prepping and completing workbooks.

Suitable candidate must have the following to qualify for this position:

• Minimum of 4 years post qualified Electrician or Electronic Engineering
• Ability or experience to lead a team, reporting, train up or have experience in SAP system
• Experience in Excel
• Strong communication skills

We are offering a salary guide of €45k to €52k, depending on experience, plus benefits.
