Senior Sales Executive (Freight Import/Export)

Our client a leader in the freight forwarding industry are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Sales Executive for a full time permanent position covering Leinster, Ireland.

Our client is an international logistics service provider with a global network, they not only provide standardised solutions, but also put together individual logistics products to meet the specific requirements of customers supply chain. From automotive to contract logistics, warehousing, outsourcing, planning and customs clearance

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and retain client relationships with clients
• Develop new business through generating sales leads and closing deals for Air & Sea – Imports & Exports
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market in Air, Road and Sea Freight
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels such as networking, industry events and cold calling
• Work closely with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to clients
• Preparing tenders, reports and presentations
• Negotiating contracts and rates
• Conducting in-depth research on competitors’ products and pricing
• Achieving sales targets

Suitable candidate should have the following to qualify for this position:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Irish Freight Industry is essential within a Senior Management position or Senior Sales position
• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets 
• Excellent Client Relationship Management and Account Management skills
• The capability to work at a senior management or board level
• The ability to generate leads
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• A full clean driving licence is required

• €70k to €80k plus potential bonus of up to 25% – giving the successful candidate OTE €100k
