We are looking to recruit a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive for our large freight forwarding client based in North Dublin.
Successful candidate will start in January, and must come from a sales background either in Freight / Transport or Warehousing.
On Offer:
Salary of €60k to €70k Depending on experience.
Company Car / Bonus / Pension / Health Insurance / Expenses.
Requirement:
Experienced Senior Sales Executive with at least 7 to 10 years of experience, predominantly in the freight and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge in road freight, including both pallets and full loads, and some experience in air and ocean freight is desirable. An essential aspect of this role is solution selling, as their clients require global logistics solutions.
Team Structure and Expectations
- Reporting: Direct reporting to Head of Sales, who has been with the company for 17 years
- Team Composition: Collaboration with one Business Developer in Dublin and one in the UK, both from freight backgrounds, and our Customer Success team
- A structured approach to maintaining and updating the sales pipeline is crucial. There will be weekly Monday meetings to review the pipeline in detail
- We are looking for someone seeking a long-term role, as maintaining continuity in customer relationships is key to our operations
- Candidates should have a strong track record of sales success and the ability to work both independently on the road and as part of a team during strategic planning sessions
