Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a busy distribution company based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Suitable candidate must have minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a busy warehouse position.
Salary will depend on experience – €28k to €32k+ Benefits.
Candidate must be flexible to work the following shifts: 7am to 3.30pm / 8am to 4.30pm / 10am to 6.30pm.

Duties:

Goods Inwards- Packaging

• Receive deliveries of packaging stock, check quantities and store tidily

Stock

• Receive deliveries of stock. Check quantities, fully inspect all goods entering the warehouse, record receipt and pass on paperwork to admin team
• To ensure that goods are stored correctly in the warehouse
• Medicinal Stock – Receive deliveries of medicinal stock and check into the warehouse in accordance with our SOP’s and GDP
• Make sure all shelves and containers that hold medicinal products are kept dust free and closed at all times
• Monitor expiry dates of products on a day to day basis and report any products approaching their sell by date to directors

Picking Stock Maintenance

• Ensure a policy of FEFO is carried out within the warehouse
• Fully inspect goods as picking

Order Fulfilment

• Pick and pack customer orders as requested
• Record details as required and pass on paperwork to admin team
• Dispatch orders with appropriate paperwork and packaging labelling
• Load couriers with goods

Housekeeping

• Keep warehouse and external areas clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal. To always ensure good housekeeping

Stocktaking

• Complete a once-a-year stock take on a Saturday / Sunday around the end of June/start of July
• Return of Goods
• Good personal hygiene must be maintained at all times
• General Warehouse Duties
